If you’re looking for Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington senior photos that feel warm, natural, and a little bit golden and dreamy, this is one of my favorite sessions to shoot. This is another two location combination that gives you the best of both worlds without having to travel far, and it’s built around golden sun drenched fields, long grasses, and a nearby lakeside location with beautiful reflections and soft evening light. We start in the fields where everything feels open and glowy and a little bit styled without trying too hard, with tall grasses, seasonal flowers, and that warm light that makes skin look incredible. Then we shift over to the lake where the entire mood changes in the best way, with water, movement, and reflections that add depth and a more relaxed, natural feel to your gallery.

What I love about this combination is how it creates variety without overcomplicating the session. The fields give you that golden, editorial look with texture and softness, and the lake brings in something cooler and more grounded with water, shoreline, and light reflecting across the surface. Because the locations are close together, it never feels rushed or like we’re chasing light all over the place, and I can focus on guiding you the entire time so you feel comfortable and confident instead of wondering what to do.
