A Spring Senior Session at Adelman Peony Gardens

Every spring, for just a few short weeks, the Adelman Peony Gardens transforms into one of the most breathtaking flower fields in the Pacific Northwest. Endless rows of soft pink peonies create the dreamiest backdrop for senior portraits, and this session with Lil was everything I imagined and more.

Lil wore a stunning powder blue House of CB dress that fit her like a glove. The soft blue paired perfectly with the sea of pink peonies, creating a timeless, romantic look that feels straight out of a magazine.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s feels like to be photographed in a flower field, these photos will give you a pretty good idea. My sessions are relaxed, fun, and full of movement. I’ll guide you every step of the way so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands or how to pose. My goal is to create images that feel effortless while still looking polished and beautiful.

After more than 20 years behind the lens, I’ve learned that the best photographs happen when you stop worrying about the camera and simply enjoy the experience. That’s exactly what I want every senior to feel during their session.

The Adelman Peony Gardens is one of my favorite locations for spring senior portraits because it offers something truly unique. Peony season is incredibly short, making these sessions extra special. When the blooms are gone, they’re gone until next year.
